The Production Supervisor supervises, and coordinates activities of production employees engaged in operating a variety of machines to manufacture parts or products.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure safe work practices are being followed
  • Oversee production lines
  • Manage manpower and personnel issues
  • Ensure production schedules are followed
  • Implement continuous improvement ideas
  • Work with Maintenance when equipment issues arise   

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.             (Experience in a manufacturing environment in lieu of degree is acceptable)
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated trouble-shooting skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to mentor production personnel
  • Ability to effectively present information to management and employees of the organization
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and ability to deal with problems in standardized situations required
  • MS Word & Excel, Internet, E-mail
