Acoustic Test Engineer Research & Technology (R&T)

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and conduct automotive NVH measurements both at part and vehicle scales
  • Support the design of new components and optimize the existing NVH package and technologies
  • Produce and present technical reports to document project plan, results, conclusions, and technical findings
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful completion of NVH Vehicle projects
  • Continuously improve equipment and test methods to maintain industry-leading test capabilities
  • Direct and assist technicians to conduct prototyping operations

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree (or more) in mechanics, physics or electronics with a specialization in acoustics and you have significant experience (>5 years) in acoustics
  • You have had the opportunity to perform vibro-acoustic measurements on vehicles, both in a controlled environment and in operating conditions
  • You are at ease with different means of acquisition (LMS, Artemis, etc.) and can use them independently
  • You are familiar with test standards and main regulations
  • You are fully conversant with interpretive language tools (Matlab, Python or similar)
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Fluent in English and preferably another language (German, Italian, or French is a plus)
