1. Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in the development and testing of automotive components manufactured from engineered carpet/felt materials. Experience in acoustics is an advantage.
- Process development experience within an automotive tier 1 supplier with an understanding of the limitations of materials and processes.
- Experienced at reviewing and analyzing component test data and providing feedback and action plans for improvements.
- Communicates regularly with OEM engineers.
- Works with design / development teams to achieve cross functional objectives and defines counter measures to solve issues within the performance constraints of the product offering.
2. Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams that work across functions as well as OEM/Supplier boundaries. Must be:
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to develop and communicate clear plans of action.
- Excellent people skills and ability to build deep, trusting relationships.
- Comfortable speaking and presenting at all levels of an organization.
- Comfortable and effective challenging and motivating people to perform.
- Must be an excellent problem solver.
3. Must be proficient in PC and office productivity software (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, etc.) with an ability to use the 3D/2D software for part drawing. Experience with Auto CAD, computer aided engineering software such as CFD, acoustics, FEA, thermal / cooling is an advantage.
4. Must be willing to travel and communicate.
- Basic written and verbal English communication skill is required.
- Travel regularly within China.
- Travel internationally if required (Europe and N. America).
- Must be prepared to communicate with colleagues globally outside of regular working hours.
5. Bachelor degree or above majored in material / engineering or other relevant discipline.
6. Quick learning ability and team spirit.
