Manage the CAPEX process within the BG.
Ensure to have correct data for CAPEX F-Plan procedures:
CAPEX forecast based on latest STP.
CAPEX proposal to techn. PUR for LCC sourcing.
Liaise with plant F&C, BG Project Controlling and PMs for timeless accuracy of CAPEX data.
Ensure optimized capital expenditures by applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
Judgement of CAPEX reports and prepare proposal for release
2. Management of Manufacturing Assets (Machine DB / Manufacturing Assets Mgmt Process) in strong cooperation with BG Capacity Planning Manager
Define, deploy and improve the Manufacturing Assets Management Process for the BG by increasing transparency (KPIs) and improving the reporting system.
Optimize utilization of manufacturing assets by maximum re-use of existing equipment after the initial project life.
Predict EOP for dedicated equipment
Utilization forecast of major equipment categories within the BG
Continuously update the BG Machine Database and list of standard techn. Specification.
Risk minimization for equipment
3. Central Manufacturing Engineering (RFQ draft / RFQ approval)
Interface with GPMAN for engineering
Machines specifications management: history, centralization, numbering...
Continuous update of Costing DB for equipment: to be utilized by Manufacturing Engineering for their CAPEX estimation, by CAPEX Management to check/control CAPEX requests, and so to be used as a reference (must updated annually, with collaboration of Purchasing dept)
Participate on regular coordination meetings/conferences/WS with regional manufacturing engineering teams (alignment, instructions, experience sharing...)
Support special projects (e.g. relocations, transfers etc.) and contribute with KPIs and data analysis to manufacturing footprint evaluations.
